DEL THOMPSON
Weekdays from 2pm and Saturdays from 8am

Hi I'm Del, I'm playing Dorset's favourite music weekday afternoons from 2pm and Saturdays from 8am.
I’ve been on the radio in some shape or form for about 10 yrs. I moved to Dorset in 2007 and I love it!
I'm a very down to earth kind of guy, and love a good night out, so living in Weymouth is perfect for me!
I love watching films, especialy comedy, and... well food is the big love of my life!
Hey, send me a message to the studio, use the form at the bottom of the page.
And while you're there, have a go in the games, I bet you can't score more than 12 on the Simon game
(let me know if you do)
The Important Questions...
How do you like to have fun?
Travel, travel, travel, that's my idea of fun, I love everything about it from airline food, beach bars and those little free things you get in hotels that always seem to end up in my suitcase.
What’s the most unconventional thing about you?
Some would say it's my love of Europop, but thats not true, I love all kinds of music! Unconventional? hummm, that's a tough one, but I once appeared in a "full monty" show, and I've also been a "henchman" at Warwick Castle.
What would be a perfect day for you?
Well it would have to start with a lazy lie in, then involve some chocolate doughnuts, a good bottle of wine, good food, friends, and a sunny beach... ok and some more chocolate doughnuts!
What is your most memorable moment?
I once sat next to rugby legend Phil Vickery on an Easyjet flight, does that count?
What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would travel around the world, and live out the rest of my life in a floppy straw hat and flip flops.
