Sail lais - Sailing for the recovery of the mentally ill

1A MILL LANE, PRESTON, WEYMOUTH

I have Bipolar Disorder and have had numerous hospital admissions due to this. I found (off my own back) that a sense of adventure such as watersport really aided my recovery particularly with confidence and anxiety. The mental health resource teams do not have the people or skills to organise this and I hope to be able to complete my training (I have already spent half of this out of my own pocket) as a dinghy instructor and teach people to sail for free to boost confidence and give them something they deserve, however training is expensive and so is hiring of resources, thankfully some charities have offered to support and lend their facilities. All would be much appreciated towards helping other regain and learn something new.

This is designed for all. People who suffer from personality disorders, self-harm, suicidal tendencies, mood difficulties, psychosis, depression - all sorts - EVERYONE is accepted and will be welcomed.
PLEASE DONATE! much appreciated
