Bridport Carnival
Wessex fm and The Bridport News are supporting this year's Bridport Carnival.
The fun packed extravaganza includes a grand procession held on the weekend of 16th and 17th August.
Last year's procession was a record breaker with more entries than in recent memory.
Other activities include carnival darts, golf, a grand car boot sale, fete and a fun fair at Asker Meadows. There is also the traditional Sunday evening torchlight parade from Bridport to West Bay.
This awesome spectacle involves 1,500 blazing torches being carried by families as they make their way to the Bay for a celebration with live music and fireworks.
This year Bridport Carnival is on Saturday August 16 and the fete and torchlight parade is on Sunday August 17.
