Dorchester Christmas Cracker

Wessex fm are supporting this years Dorchester Christmas Cracker on Wednesday 3rd December.  The 'switching on' of the lights at the top of South Street will be at 7pm by TV actress Jennifer Biddal, known to many as Jessica Harris from Hollyoaks.

 

Here is a full list of the events on the night:

5.00pm: Following streets to close: South, High West and High East Street, top of Trinity Street. Buses will run through Trinity Street until 6pm. Traffic will be diverted.

5.30pm: Pop Club – W&S Recycle stage

6.00pm: West Dorset Accordion Players – Tudor Arcade
Dorchester Community Choir – St Peter’s Church Stage

6.10pm: Quangle Wangle Choir – W&S Recycle stage

6.50pm: Procession commences from the Bottom of South Street by the W&S Recycle stage

7.00pm: Christmas lights are turned on by TV Celebrity Jennifer Biddall at the Bow on the St Peter’s Church Stage

7.30pm: The Dolmen – W&S Recycle stage

7.50pm: The Durnovaria Silver Band – Ouside Barclay’s Bank

8.00pm: Fit Fun and Dance – St Peter’s Church

8.30pm: The Crack – St Peter’s Church Stage

9.00pm: Prizes awarded to best dressed shop and character
