Weymouth Bay Swim

Wessex fm are proud to be supporting the Weymouth Bay Swim again this year.  It takes place on Sunday 10 August 2008 staring at 9.30am.

Heart disease touches us all, and what better way to support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and get your heart racing than to take to the sea.

Enjoy a challenging mile long swim along the sandy waters edge of Weymouth and be rewarded with a complimentary drink and medal at the finish.

Nearly 300 swimmers took part last year and we expect lots more this year, so please register early to guarantee your place.

It is the perfect opportunity to get together with friends, family and colleagues and have a great time for a great cause. By taking part you will be playing a vital role in continuing the fight against heart disease – the UK's biggest killer.

The event is open to all ages, however under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Please remember that this is an opportunity to raise crucial funds for the BHF, and as such we invite all participants to raise sponsorship. Your entry fee covers organisational costs, but it is the sponsorship you gain that saves lives.

Click here for an entry form    or call 0800 652 5818
