A young boy's had his bike stolen in Weymouth after a car pulled up beside him. The 10 and 11-year-old's were walking along Lanehouse Rocks Road at around 6.30pm last night when a burgundy coloured Honda stopped by them.
BODY OF DORSET SOLDIER TO BE FLOWN HOME

The body of a Dorset solider who died in a bomb blast in Afghanistan last week is being flown home today. The coffin of Rifleman Jonathon Allot, of 3rd Battalion the Rifles, will pass through the town of Wootton Bassett after a private ceremony at RAF Lyneham this morning.

HARDY PLAYERS TO HELP SAVE MANUSCRIPTS

A special event of poetry, prose and music is taking place at Dorset County Museum tomorrow to try and stop some rare Thomas Hardy Manuscripts from being sold overseas. It includes scripts, stage set models and transcripts of twelve Hardy novels and short stories.
