Simon Evans

4:41pm 18th June 2013

Concern is growing for the welfare of a Lyme Regis man who went missing this morning.

42-year-old Simon Evans was last seen at about 7.30am driving a black SAAB 9-5 Vector and police think he might have travelled into Devon and Cornwall.

His family say he's been 'very upset' recently and officers want him to contact them urgently.

Chief Inspector Debbie Marsden, of Dorset Police, said: ""He has recently been very upset and his whole family are extremely concerned about him and want to make sure he is alright.

"I urge Simon to let know to let either the police or his family know that he is safe and well as soon as possible.

Simon is described as six feet four inches tall, of stocky build with dark hair and a short beard. He sometimes wears glasses, mostly for driving and reading. It is believed that he is wearing blue jeans, a grey Weird Fish top and a brown jacket.

Anyone with any information or knowledge as to Simon's whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 18:126.
