10:31am 26th June 2013

The Internationally renowned Internet Company Google are coming to Dorchester to give local businesses FREE advice.

They're co-hosting a Google workshop with West Dorset MP Oliver Letwin this Friday (28th of June).

They'll be giving tips on creating your own websites, improving existing ones, and marketing online.

We spoke to Laurian Clemence, a spokeperson from Google, who told us what could be gained from the sessions, "Anything from creating a website, or perhaps how to advertise online, or how to improve even the look of their site or their home page, or just how to be found when people search for them online. Basically, businesses that are online grow almost eight times faster than those that aren't."

The workshop is from 10.30am at the West Dorset District Council offices, South Walks House in Dorchester.
