Teenage Boy Attacked On Portland

A teenage boy's been attacked and had his scooter thrown into the harbour on Portland.
Police have just realised details of the alleged incident that happened on Wednesday night.
The 13-year-old local boy was waiting for a friend near Portland Castle around 8.30 on Wednesday evening, when he was approached by a group of boys and girls.
A boy from the group came forward and punched and kicked him before throwing his scooter into the water.
Police Constable Rob Adams, of Weymouth and Portland police, said: "It was fortunate that the victim was not injured but he has been left very shaken.
"I am keen to talk to anyone who witnessed this incident to help ascertain exactly what happened.
"If anyone has any information, I urge them to come forward as soon as possible."
The offender is described as a white teenage boy approximately four feet tall with short fair hair.
