Friends of a Portland man who's been left paralysed temporarily after a fall have rallied round to raise funds for him.
Simon Richmond is currently in traction in intensive care at Southampton General Hospital.
He could be there for up to seven weeks.
He suffered the injury after falling down the stairs at home.
A Facebook Group started up in his name has now raised over £500 to buy him a voice control ipad.
Friend and fundraiser Toby Graham has asked Wessex FM to thank everyone who's donated.
