Appeal For Lost Harris Hawk

News

10:08am 4th July 2013
(Updated 10:09am 4th July 2013)

A Stratton man is asking Wessex FM listeners to help him find his lost Harris Hawk.

Ronald Sawyer took the bird to a fete in the village at the weekend - but she escaped and he hasn't seen her since.

She was on top of a roof of a house for while - but his attempts to tempt her back down failed and she was eventually scared off by a couple of crows.

The bird is called Kez - she's got Jessie's on and long rope coming from her feet.  She's microchipped as well.

She's dark in colours and has a white-ish tail.

If you think you've seen Ronald's lost hawk please give him a call on 01305 260674.
