lulworthcyclechallenge.jpg

12:11am 7th July 2013

We're being urged to watch out for cyclists in Dorset today as hundreds take to the saddle in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

In the 25th ride of its kind, cyclists will leave Corfe Mullen, head towards Wimborne and return through Lytchett Matravers.

Motorists are being asked to be especially vigilant on the A31 and the A350, as the cyclists cross the main roads.

To mark the 25th anniversary a 25 mile ride through Charborough Park has been reintroduced which former england cricket Captain, and dedicated Macmillan supporter, David Gower will start at 9am.

If you wish to learn more about Macmillan Cancer Support then visit the recreation ground during the day.

For more information on the ride go to www.macmillanbikeride.co.uk
