Heathland Monitored After Double Blaze

The National Trust continues to monitor an area of heathland on Studland after 2 fires there in as many days.

Dorset Fire and Rescue say the first Monday's fire was started deliberately.

Another fire 24 hours later is thought to have spontaneously ignited due to rising temperatures on the burned out area.

The heath is home to 6 rare native British reptiles and National Trust spokesperson Jon Bish says they've had a lucky escape.
