New Cycle and Footpath Plans Go On Show
8:13am 12th July 2013
Designs for a new cycleway and footpath to improve safety and improve links into Weymouth are ready to view.
The Council scheme will connect the Chaffeys and Manor Roundabouts.
It will create a continuous link from Swannery Bridge to the cycle path along the relief road.
Engineers are due to start work in the autumn but you can view plans before then, next Thursday (18th July) at Emmanuel Church, Southill in Weymouth from 2pm-7pm.
The work is costing £750,000 which has come from 3 sources, the Local Sustainable Transport Fund, Department for Cycle Safety and Dorset County Council's Local Transport Fund.
