Weymouth bodybuilder Darren Hallett's overcome a shoulder injury to be named Mr Universe.
Despite not training fully he's picked up the title at the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Association event in Sapri, Italy to add to the world crown he currently holds.
Daz, who runs Fitness World in Weymouth, spent 16 weeks in preparation for a crack at the title but only did 80% of his intended training due to the injury.
He's had it operated on last Friday at the Dorset County Hospital in readiness to defend his world title in October, but surgeons also found his bicep tendons frayed and took the knife to them to fix. He has only 75% of his tendon left but all in working order.
Speaking on Wessex FM, Daz, who held his 'pose' longer than any of his competitors in the finals, said judging who's best isn't about bulk, rather judges look at how defined muscles are. He says some of his rivals are down to 3% body fat.
