Future of Famous Dorchester Attraction up for Discussion
8:16am 19th July 2013
What shall we do with Shire Hall in Dorchester?
A public consultation begins today about the fate of the Grade 1 listed building , famous for the trial of the Tolpuddle Martyrs in 1834.
West Dorset Council want it to become a heritage attraction from 2016.
It's to be open tomorrow (Saturday) 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-1pm to coincide with the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival, from where a free shuttle bus can take visitors to view.
The consultation's running for 8 weeks and you can have your say online at www.dorsetforyou.com/shirehallproject
