Dorset Hosts Chilli Cooking Championships
12:04am 4th August 2013
There's plenty of fiery chefs busy this weekend at the Dorset heat of the 2013 Chilli Cook Off championships.
Teams will have four hours to prepare and cook from scratch one gallon of chilli con carne which will then be judged by an expert panel.
The hottest chilli won't necessarily win as judges will be looking for best appearance, aroma, consistency, taste and after taste of the chilli.
The winning team will receive £ 250 and entry into the UK final which has as a prize a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the World food Championships.
The cook off takes place on Sunday afternoon as part of the Chilli Festival at Wimborne St.Giles.
