Get ready to be flattened by a World Record attempt that'll see over a hundred Steam Rollers gathering in Blandford Forum.
They'll be trying to gain the title of the largest number of these engines in a parade formation to travel over a set course.
Some of the requirements for the world record attempt are that all vehicles must be standard steam rollers with a heavy roller used for smoothing road surfaces, and all vehicles participating in this world record attempt must be moving, it's not acceptable to park them in a row.
The world record attempt has been officially acknowledged by Guinness World Records Ltd. Also attending the fair to watch the rollers will be Colin Tyson of Old Glory Magazine, a well respected figure in the steam industry.
The Great Dorset Steam Fair Managing Director, Martin Oliver, told Wessex FM what was in store, "We are attempting this on our busiest day because it will be a breathtaking sight to offer our paying visitors. If you are planning to come along on the Saturday, listen for the announcements because you won't want to miss this!"
It'll all take place on the last Saturday of the month (31st of August) at the Great Dorset Steam Fair, who also set the current world record of 32 steam rollers ten years ago.
