The Royal Air Force officially opens their Town Show celebrations in Weymouth this afternoon (Tuesday 19th August).

You can go down to the Pavilion from 2pm today and talk to serving personnel about their experiences in the field of duty.
The RAF Careers Information Service will be also be on hand at the show to provide information about career opportunities.
Flight Lieutenant, John Raine, Officer Commanding Armed Forces Careers Office Exeter, said: "We are delighted to return to Weymouth as we always receive a tremendous welcome. The show offers us a unique opportunity to meet the public and give them the chance to see what the RAF does first hand."
Cllr Ian Bruce, Brief Holder for Tourism and Culture at Weymouth and Portland Borough Council said, "We are delighted to welcome the RAF Town Show back to Weymouth. We appreciate their continued support during our carnival period and their sponsorship of the RAF Careers Beach Volleyball Classic on Weymouth Beach in August. It always fills me with admiration that our armed forces not only defend our country's interests with their lives but support its peace time activities too."
The RAF Town Show, on the forecourt of the Weymouth Pavilion, runs until Thursday.
