Dorset charity - Autism Wessex have raised over £12,000 from their 45th anniversary ball thanks to a match funding scheme by Basepoint Business Centre in Bournemouth.
Ticket sales and raffle prizes raised £6,000 on the night - which was then doubled by Basepoint.
Karl Fuller, Basepoint's Centre Manager comments: "We are delighted to be able to support Autism Wessex in this way. We enjoy an excellent working relationship and are pleased to see our funds being put to good use to make a real difference where it is needed most."
Proceeds raised by the event will be used to enhance and improve the services the charity provides to people affected by autism.
Kim Darbyshire, Corporate Partnerships Officer comments; "We are really fortunate to enjoy such a good relationship with Basepoint Business Centre and are very grateful for their ongoing support over the years.
This match funding scheme makes such a difference and is a real boost to our fundraising efforts.
Basepoint Business Centre was our headline sponsor. Thanks also goes to our other corporate sponsors on the night, including Williams Thompson Solicitors LLP, CSE Citation Centre, NWM, Salad Creative and Saffery Champness. Due to these kind donations every penny raised will go directly to the charity as all costs were covered in hosting the event.
We are always looking for additional corporate partners to support our 'lifestyle', 'fitness' and 'challenge' events throughout the year and have a number of attractive packages for both short term and longer term support. If you are a business looking for exciting promotional opportunities in affiliation with a long serving charity, please come and talk to us to discuss how we can work together."
