A Victorian hotel on the Dorset coast that looked after injured soldiers during the two Great Wars is expanding.
The Grand Hotel in Swanage that sits on the South West Coastal path is building 44 luxury beach huts on its own private beach below.
Owners say the money made will pay for renovations that will preserve the classic Victorian building for years to come.
The units themselves will be modern beach studios, fully equipped and supplied with water and electricity.
The Grand Hotel is currently working on cliff strengthening before construction begins next month.
