A support group for parents of gay children meets today in Dorchester.
Ricochet holds its monthly meetings so parents from accross the region can gather together and share their concerns with people in similar situations.
Topics of discussion include how to tell loved ones. how others may react to the news, and the gay boys' and girls' chances of becoming parents themselves. Stonewall charity will be in attendence to supply more information on this subject.
Ricochet founder Colette Hill commented: "Other parents are the best people to talk to for those who have concerns. ou hope is that parents will come to see being gay as just another version of normal".
Anyone wishing to attend should email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the helpline on 07803309781.
