Charity Counting the Cost After Signs Disappear in Weymouth!
1:44pm 9th September 2013
A number of signs put up around Weymouth town by a local charity, have disappeared.
The blue boards, that are tied to lamp-posts and on wooden stakes, were advertising Weldmar Hospice's annual fete.
But some have been ripped down leaving the charity out of pocket as the signs are re-used each year.
Weldmar Events Fundraiser Matt Smith told Wessex FM it's all a bit strange;
"It could be anything, some could have blown away in the wind but because so many have gone missing it's just a bit bizarre."
"We appreciate if they're somewhere where people don't want them, if they want to take them down that's fine but could they call us so we can pick them up OR put them at the side of the road."
The charity has notified Dorset Police who're looking into the matter.
