Food Shop Dishes Up Delight For Homeless

Last week, a woman who runs a soup kitchen for the homeless in Weymouth, told Wessex FM south Dorset always misses out on government funding.
Angie Barnes' comments came after Bournemouth was given over a hundred thousand pounds to fund projects to help people who sleeping rough.
Days after hearing her story the owner of Bargain Brands Food on Lynch Lane in Weymouth, Colin ... Decided to step-in and help.
"He's donated huge mega amounts of food to us. We've got sausages, crisps, sweets, chocolate, pancake mix and salad dressing. I just want to give Colin a huge thankyou. I'm just astounded."
"This will keep Soul Food going for ages and our homeless people now have snacks to take away with them too, to keep them going when we're not open."
