'Green Fingers' Wanted At The Nothe
9:03am 28th September 2013
Green fingered helpers are needed for a mass plant out at the Nothe today.
The Friends of Nothe Gardens are planting blubs for spring - all you need to do is turn up with a trowel and gloves at 10am this morning and get stuck in.
Roger Genge, Chair of Friends said: "this element of the project is probably the last big step in creating a diverse and interesting hedgerow for as many species as possible. We're improving the hedgerow area by planting bluebells and primroses as well as other plants found in the wild to complement the "meadow" species planted earlier in the year"
The meeting place is the car park opposite the Nothe Tavern pub.
