Teachers up and down the country are taking part in strike action today, but not here in Dorset.

Members of the NUT and NASUWT in the North West and Midlands are walking out in a row over pay, pensions AND workloads.

Under NEW Government reforms teacher pay will be linked to performance in the classroom.

Teachers in Dorset deciding to join the protest will go on strike later this month on the 17th October.
