Auction on Friday in Memory of Thomas Hardye Student

Ella Pallister

2:11pm 14th October 2013
(Updated 9:52am 15th October 2013)

Today's (Monday the 14th of October) the last day to buy supper tickets for an auction raising money in memory of a Thomas Hardye student who died after a tragic horse riding accident earlier this year.

Ella Pallister passed away after a showjumping accident, and ever since a group of family and friends who've called themselves 'Team Pallister' have been raising money for the two charities who tried to save her; The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Southampton Neurology Centre.

Going up for auction will be a suit worn by Martin Clunes in the first series of Doc Martin, a week's holiday in a French ski resort and a horse riding lesson with Team GB medal winner, William Fox-Pitt.

So far, Team Pallister say they've raised around £16,500, but would like this auction to take them to £20,000.

The Auction's being held at the George Albert Hotel in Evershot at 7pm. Tickets are £20 with a hot supper, live music and a disco. They can be purchased by card payment from Gorselands Caravan Park on 01308 897232, or by visiting the Kings Arms in Portesham, Dorchester Cycles or the George Albert itself.

Otherwise you can buy tickets on the night, but you won't get supper included!
