Sealife Tells Us Why We Should Love Sharks

Over half of the UK's shark species are under threat according to the Sharks Trust Charity.
They're blaming the decline in numbers on our fishing techniques and the demand abroad for shark fins, saying for every fatal shark attack it's estimated that up to 10 million are killed by humans.
To try and educate Dorset locals on why we should love the sea creatures, Weymouth Sea Life Centre and other Sea Life Centres around the world are holding a Shark Week (14 - 25 October}.
Amy Harvey from the Weymouth Sea Life Centre, "They are very important to our environment and also to other species in the wild, and to our oceans - they do protect our oceans. Obviously the movie, Jaws, unfortunately gave the sharks a bit of a bad reputation, so we just want to kick that reputation out the door."
