Distinctive Bike Stolen In Weymouth

Police have released a picture to Wessex FM of a mountain bike that's been stolen in Weymouth.

The theft happened around 3.30pm in the afternoon on Saturday 21st September from behind the Sealife Tower.

You can see a picture of the distinctive bike at Wessex FM dot com and police want to know if you've been offered one on the cheap.

Police Constable Neil Fitch, of Weymouth police, said: "This bike is quite distinctive and I am now in a position to release a photo.

"I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the theft, has information about those responsible or the whereabouts of the bike to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible.

"I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a Giant Reign 3 mountain bike in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price."

No arrests have been made.

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting crime number C:13:D:39640.

Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
