Dorset Vineyard Tours Up For Tourism Award
10:36am 18th October 2013
A Dorset vineyard which holds weekly wine tasting tours is close to drinking in success at the Dorset Tourism Awards.
Furleigh Estate at Salway Ash is one of three finalists in the Best Tourism Category.
Their wines are the only ones grown, produced and bottle at source in Dorset.
They'll find out if they are winners at an awards ceremony at Bovington Tank Museum next week. (24 October)
Furleigh's Rebecca Hansford told Wessex FM: "The tours a new venture for us and have proved very popular. In fact numbers are growing, not just on Friday's and Saturday's, but with club's and societies who want specially tailored tours for their members at other times of the week. Getting into the finals of the Dorset Tourism Awards shows how the tours are now becoming a very popular attraction."
