A disabled man from Weymouth's collected a modified car by a group who specialise in vehicles to get disabled people driving.

Michael Halls was chosen at random by The Motability Scheme and presented with the vehicle's keys at Dorchester Nissan on Friday (18th of October).

Also in attendance were the Mayor of Dorchester- Stella Jones, Chairman of Dorset County Council- John Wilson, and Chairman for West Dorset District Council- Gillian Summers. There were also representatives from The Motability Scheme from around the country.

Over the past 35 years, Motability say they've helped over three million people get mobile by exchanging their mobility allowance to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair.
