Top Drawer for Dorset Care Home

A Dorset private care home provider is celebrating a double whammy of prizes.
Bluebird Care has been shortlisted as finalists in the British Care Awards.
Mr Scriven was one of just four chosen finalists within his category and was short-listed as a result of the innovative way in which his care at home service, Bluebird Care Dorset, works in partnership with other services throughout the community to ensure positive outcomes are achieved for older local people in a way that goes beyond what is typically assessed by the care regulators. This includes involvement with a range of projects including two aimed at promoting dementia friendly communities.
The overall winner of the award will be announced at a gala dinner on 15th November.
News of the nomination came just days after the company's Weymouth Office won a trophy at the Bluebird Care annual conference.
Chris Scriven said, 'We are extremely pleased with the recognition our service has achieved these last few days. Our success in this regard is a reflection of the quality care at home that we provide. I am extremely proud of Wayne and our whole staff team whose commitment to excellence in providing first rate care has drawn such positive attention to our service.'
