New Era at Pecorama!
8:21am 25th October 2013
It'll be full steam ahead at Pecorama today (Friday the 25th October) as they officially open their new indoor play area after local demand.
The train-themed park in Beer say they've created the area with slides, soft obstacles and climbing areas after local visitors requested it, "We are very concerned to ensure that Pecorama offers the best in a visitor attraction", comments Peco's MD Michael Pritchard, "Having listened to our visitors, many of whom are local, we knew that we had to provide an indoor play centre to improve on our already popular children's Area."
He continued to add that it would fit in with the rest of the park, "We wanted to follow through the theme of the railway and trains as the Beer Heights Light Railway is one of our most popular features so the idea of The Play Station was a logical addition and an ideal name!"
Work on the Play Station development has continued through the summer and Pecorama state that all the new facilities have been thoroughly tested by local children prior to the formal opening.
"Whilst it would have been nice to have opened The Play Station during the season, we felt it was more important to get everything right, rather than rush things," Michael told Wessex FM.
