The developers behind the Link Road development say Weymouth is attracting some big business.
Euro Car Parts, who have over 130 outlets across the country, have taken the last 2 units at the site. Each year, Euro Car Parts supplies automotive components and consumables to more than five million cars and light commercial vehicles.
Chains like Topps Tiles and Screwfix have already set-up shop on the busy Chickrell Link Road site. Phase 1 of the Link Road site is now fully let with Euro Car Parts arrival.
Developers DJ Property built the business park and Chief Exec Mickey Jones told Wessex FM this latest news says a lot about Weymouth;
"All of the units in the first phase have been snapped up by national occupiers who weren't in Weymouth. They're releasing the opportunity the exists in Weymouth to serve the south Dorset market, but they're also realising the quality of Link Park from the quality of the buildings and the location."
Planning permission has now been submitted for Phase 2 of Link Park.
Mickey went on to say; "Phase 2 of Link Park will be constructed in a slightly different way from the first phase.
The second phase will consist of units measuring between 1,500 sq ft and 2,500 sq ft and will be particularly attractive to local small to medium sized businesses looking to expand their business into high quality new commercial space.
