Organisers of the 26th Dorchester Beerex have chosen which charity they'll be supporting in the New Year.
Proceeds from the festival which will be held at the Corn Exchange on the 7th and 8th of February will go to Gully's Place.
That's the name for a new children's area at Dorset County Hospital which will provide end of life care for young people and accommodation for their families.
Lead Paediatric nurse and chair of Gully's Place charity said "We'd like to thank the Beerex committee for nominating us as their main charity and look forward to the festival"
Local companies can get involved by sponsoring a barrel.
To find out how you do this and what you get in return please call Rich Gabe on 07771 903868.
Once again local brewery Dorset Piddle is the main festival sponsor. Brewery director Rob Martin said "We are delighted to sponsor the event and look forward to a fun filled weekend helping to raise money for Gully's Place"
Beerex 2014 chairman Ellis Ford said " I am honoured to be part of a team raising money for Gully's Place and look forward to using funds raised at Dorchester Beerex to help with their care work"
Tickets for the event will go on sale from January 1st.
