Wessex iPhone App

2:48pm 14th November 2013

A retained fireman who had his bike nicked from his garden is back in the saddle and fighting fires in Maiden Newton.

After we told you about Ross's story earlier in the week loads of you got in touch offering to help.

A good Samaritan - who doesn't want to be named - dropped off a new set of wheels and firefighter Ross is back on the road again:

"It's perfect for what I need one for; I just wanna say thanks to Wessex FM and all the listeners. I try to help out my community by being a retained fire fighter and it's really nice to know other people help as well."
