UPDATED - Elderly Woman Cut Out Of Car

An elderly woman's been cut out of her car and taken to hospital after an accident at Broadmayne this morning.

No other cars were involved in the crash that happened around 7.30am.

Paramedics were called to the scene as well as Dorset Fire and Rescue.

The 72-year-old pensioner was cut out of the Ford Fiesta registered to a woman from Wareham.

She's suffered injuries to her ankle, wrist and chest, all of which Police say are not thought to be life threatening.

They're warning drivers to take care during icy conditions.

Meanwhile, Dorset Police also received a call at around 8.05am reporting a crash invovling one vehicle on the B3157 just outside Burton Bradstock in Bridport.

A white Toyota Hiace panel van registered to a Devon man was in collision with a red Fiat Punto registered to an Exeter man and left the road ending up in a hedge.

Nobody was injured.
