New West Dorset Authors At Bridport Book Signing

9:16am 23rd November 2013

Three debut authors, who've released books inspired by Bridport and West Dorset, are signing their first time novels today.

Mitch Noran, Sean Geraghty and former editor Margery Hooking's stories had been hidden away before being published by the new Bridport Press.

From 10am the trio will be in the town's Waterstones until noon.

Margery, who writes under the pen name of Maddie Grigg, said "People are so interested in anything to do with ridport. I thought it was the right time to reveal a side of the area whih might not be appreciated by those who've moved here recently."

The three books may all be about the local area but range dramatically.

Mitch Norman's 'Well, Fare Thee Well' is a funny coming of age story, 'The Borassic Coast' by S C Geraghty is a dark tale of the jurassic coast, and Maddie Grigg's 'A Town Like This' follows the story of a local newspaper reporter out to make a name for himself.
