Dorchester Post Arriving On Time

More post is getting to Dorchester on time.

The latest figures from Royal Mail shows they're exceeding their delivery targets so far this year (2013).

Between April and September, nearly 95% of first class mail made it to the DT postcode area the next day after posting.

That's better than expected and the upward trend has continued so far since the beginning of Autumn too with more of our letters and parcels arriving by Royal Mail on time.

The news comes just days after postal regulator Ofcom warned of financial penalties for poor performance

The recently privatised service says it's their best performance in Dorchester since 2007.

So rest assured if you're living in the County Town and are expecting some Christmas pressies, they should be arriving on time.
