A Cuppa For A Good Cause

Christchurch Court in Dorchester was awash with tea recently for a fund-raising coffee morning.
Dorchester resident, Katrina Parry, raised over £100 for cancer charity, MacMillan, by selling tea, coffee and home-made cakes.
She also organised a bring and buy sale and games such as “guess how many coffee beans in the jar”.
Katrina said, “MacMillan is a charity that is really close to my heart. I’ve had cancer and I have a close family member who has recently been diagnosed. They do such fantastic work but they need every penny they can get to keep helping people with cancer and their families.
“I’d like to thank all the Dorchester Moose members who came along to support me. I really couldn’t have done it without them. I’d also like to thank Magna Housing who let me use the communal room to hold the event.”
