Service Cuts and Council Tax Rise to Save Borough Budget
7:31am 3rd December 2013
Increasing fees for Weymouth Crematorium and cutting back on its events programme.
They're just two of the money making and money saving ideas which Weymouth and Portland Borough Council will consider today.
The Management Committee will look at how the local authority can balance its budget for next year, with the need to make £2.1M in savings over the next three years.
The new budget is also based on council tax going up by 1.9%.
