Four professional female athletes have signed up to compete in the first ever Challenge Weymouth Triathlon.
Tamsin Lewis, Yvette Grice and Charisa Wernick are some of the top names in their field.
Elite German athlete Celia Kuch is also to race in the event and says that "she can't wait to come back to the UK to take on Weymouth".
Yvette Grice, who won Challenge Henley in 2011 says: "I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear about the new location - and I was excited to learn that it was down in Weymouth."
Competitors can choose to race either long distance, middle distance or they can take part as part of a relay team of three.
It was announced last month that male pro athletes Joel Jameson, Craig Twigg, Graeme Stewart and Stephen Bayliss will be racing in the event.
The event organised by Just Racing UK is to take place on 14th September 2014. Entries are now open.
