Dorchester and Weymouth Woes Continue
7:58am 9th December 2013
All 3 of our local football teams were in action over the weekend and all of them were desperate to find some form in the run up to Christmas.
It was another tough outing for Dorchester Town who struggled all game against Havant and Waterlooville.
The Magpies were reduced to 10 men before their opponents romped to a 5-1 victory and they remain bottom of the table on just 11 points this season.
Tomorrow night Dorchester take on fellow strugglers Tonbridge Angels (Tuesday 10th December) who're in the leagues bottom 5, they’ve also lost their last 2 games too. Could a lesser opponent provide our Magpies with the spark they need to get going before their season goes completely down the pan?
Elsewhere, Weymouth's run of poor form continues with a 3-0 loss to St Albans. That's their second loss in a row and they've conceded 10 goals the last 2 matches.
The Terras are holding steady though still occupying the middle portion in the league table and could move into the top 10 with a win and all 3 points when they take on Hitchin Town tonight (Monday 9th December).
Better news for Bridport Town though, they claimed their first win since mid-November, 3-1 over Longwell Green Sports.
