Public Views Sought Over Adult Care in Bridport

Carer

8:09am 9th December 2013

The timetable's been set for consulting over adult care services in Bridport.

Our views are wanted as county councillors decided how to invest £ 4.7 million.

As well as a new community hub for day services, Sidney Gale Care Home needs replacing.
Currently its not fit for purpose and not economically viable to upgrade.

First chance to have your say is next Monday the 16th from 2-3.30pm at the Bridport Town Hall.

There'll be another public meeting before the end of January, while council officials will be on hand in BuckyDoo Square on Wednesday the 8th and 15th.

The whole consultation will last 3 months by going online or answering questionaires at various town venues.

Details of the options and how to take part in the consultation can be found on the county council's website.
