Warning Issued Over Buying Booze For Under 18's

Adults in Purbeck are being warned over buying alcohol for teenagers who're underage.
The District Council says alcohol-related crime and anti-social behaviour has fallen in the area but it's still an issue they want to tackle.
Working with partner agencies they're focusing on under-age drinkers who often bribe adults to buy them booze.
Adults are being warned they could get a £5,000 fine and a criminal record if they're found to have supplied alcoholic drink to youngsters under 18.
Posters have been produced and will be on display throughout Purbeck in the coming weeks to warn shoppers of the law.
Councillor Mrs Patrick continued: "Drinking at an early age puts young people in potential danger and can have serious consequences on their health. It is therefore extremely important that we all work together to tackle this issue, and I am very pleased that our local licensees are supporting this campaign."
