Dorchester Christmas Lights

(Updated 8:46am 12th December 2013)

Dorchester businesses have contributed £6,000 to the county town's lights this year through the BID.

The funding has also subsidised 100 Christmas tree lights for Dorchester businesses.

Dorchester BID has also injected nearly £3,000 into helping shops and businesses through cooperative advertising - which has included commercials on Wessex FM.

Phil Gordon Project Director DBID said "One of the main objectives of the DBID is to keep Dorchester in the minds of the local population and with this current campaign of awareness I hope that even more people will discover that there is no better place locally to do your Christmas shopping. With the addition of the Brewery Square businesses there is now more choice than ever- Dorchester Old and New is an unbeatable combination!"
