Public Speak Out Over Future of Adult Care Services in Bridport

You can have your say on the future of a 4.7 million pound investment into adult social care in Bridport this afternoon (Monday 16th December).
Local residents being invited to debate how day services, older people care, and support for independence in the community should be supported.
Plans also include building a fully accessible community hub for all day services.
Cabinet member for adult social care Councillor Jane Haynes says; "A huge amount of time and effort has been put into thoroughly reviewing the current and future needs of services in Bridport and surrounding area."
Consultation will last for three months and Cllr Haynes says local people have helped with the initial plans so far but need people to get involved.
"We want to hear from people who use the services as well as carers, family memebers and partner organisations."
The public meeting's happening from 2 till 3.30 this afternoon (Monday) at Bridport town hall.
