Fire Fighters Join Strike Action after Busy Night Tackling Flood Emergencies

Dorset Fire and Rescue Service are walking out again this evening in a row over pensions.
They are urging the public to take extra steps to protect themeselves against the risk of fire.
Darran Gunter, Chief Fire Officer says: "While the industrial action is ongiong we will still be responding to 999 calls, but we are asking members of the public to take extra steps during the festive period, to reduce the risk of fire breaking out in their home".
They will still be running a reduced service during the strike.
More Industrial action is planned for Tuesday 31st December and Friday 3rd January.
