More Men In Dorset Under Financial Strain

More men are phoning the Samaritans in Dorset over money worries.
The charity says a sixth of men who're getting in touch are facing financial problems.
Patron for the Dorset Samaritans Dr Andrew Mayers says men who've lost income find it hard at this time of year.
Andrew says they've been helping lots of men worried about money;
"When it comes to Christmas that pressure is still on and they feel that pressure to do what they normally do for Christmas and go out and borrow too much money and get themselves into all sorts of trouble and that's when they phone the Samaritans."
"It might well be that at this stage they don't feel they can share this worry with a partner, perhaps because they borrowed money and didn't disclose that they were going to do so. The thing is they need to get this off their chest and speak to someone who will listen."
