Teenage Rampage in Blandford

Drug raid 290513 (8)

7:12am 2nd January 2014

The hunt is on for a group of teenagers after a spate of criminal damage in Blandford.

Windows were smashed, cars damaged and garden gates ripped off during the crime spree on Boxing Day night around 11:30pm.

The incidents happened along Bryanston Street, Windmill Street, The Close, Charles Street, Parklands and Dorset Street.

PC Rob Hammond, of Blandford Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "These mindless acts of criminal damage have caused the owners great inconvenience and expense.

"We believe this crime spree was committed by three teenagers, aged between 15 and 19. One of the offenders was wearing a red hat.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have information about any of these incidents, or may have seen someone acting suspiciously in these areas to call police in confidence."
